Summer sessions are boom time for extended family portraits. Next to Thanksgiving and Christmas family reunions are when most family members get together! And if we’re all together, why not have an updated family portrait!
The Taylor family had their family reunion at Pineview Reservoir. It made complete sense to do their family pictures right there!

Scouting locations in advance
Photographing new locations can be intimidating. Not knowing what the lighting will be like or if it’s large enough for a large group are all things you don’t want to leave to chance.
Aspen went above and beyond to drive to Pineview Reservoir to scout the location days before the session.
It paid off because this session was flawless!
