It’s spotlight time again!  If you’ve been counting, you’ll wonder what happened to vendor spotlight #2?  You can find it here on Emily’s page where she spotlighted the hostess of our workshop!

I discovered Gracee Collection about 3 years ago.  I fell in love with the delicate tiebacks!  My style tends to be simplistic and dainty.  I want the focus of my photographs to be on the newborn not on the accessories.  The accessories should accentuate the newborn and not take away from it.  Gracee’s pieces do just that!

So let’s get on with our spotlight!  I introduce you to the face behind Gracee Collections!

Gracee Collection was started after I came to grips with my own prop obsession while being a photographer in the beautiful town of Missoula, Montana for 8 years. After my husband took an out of state job and I needed to be home more with the kiddos so I decided to put my creative side to work in such a way that allowed for me to spend less time away.

Designing photography props was something I had considered doing for quite some time and I finally made it official the summer of 2014. I have been blessed with a business that began to thrive quickly that not only allows me to stay home more but allows me continue doing something I truly love. Being a photographer for several years (and continuing to do so as a hobby) I have an advantage to be able to design sets and props that meet the challenges of newborn sessions along with designs that are pleasing to the eye and popular. I am honored to be a part of the photography and prop industry. Its not often someone can say they get to live out their passions but I am doing just that.

Gracee Collection offers a wide variety of props, focusing on newborns. We run several sales each week and try to offer props for every budget. We also work with several photographers to customize props for specific set styles. It has been a dream come true to have the privilege to do what I do and I hope to continue to design and offer props to photographers for years to come.
