My favorite subject to photograph are tiny newborns. I also love photographing family and friends. So when newborn photography involves family it literally turns into a little party. Except at this party it is 84 degrees!

During a newborn photography session I spend time chatting with the family and older siblings of the beautiful newborn I’m posing. I like to learn more about their story. I have the belief that every family has a story!

Harper’s story is that she’s sort of related to me! Her dad is my mom’s step-sister’s son! Now that I’ve lost you on the family relations, her other story is that her older brother and sister are twins! I was blessed to photograph Ben and Riley as newborns as well!

The other part of Harper’s story is that during her session we also got to treat the session like a twin session because her beautiful little cousin Jovie got to have her session at the same time! They were born 6 days apart! It only made sense to do their newborn session together!

Our session was so much fun! I didn’t grow up near any of my mom’s family. I actually only recall visiting them 3 or 4 times. It thrills my heart to catch up with them and to see their spouses and their beautiful growing family. Thank you so much Evan and Aerro for making the drive to beautiful Brigham City to hang out with me for a few hours! Your family is absolutely adorable!

Harper looked beautiful amidst a sea of peach and floral. Yay that florals are back in style – can they stay forever?! If you want some floral love in your newborn session, just let me know when you fill out the Newborn Pre-session Questionnaire!
In addition to the beautiful floral we decided to pull out this beautiful maroon fabric from one of my absolute favorite vendors Prissy Princess who has treated me like gold! Go check out their work, you will fall immediately in love!
